1 Day Acuvue Moist in the Shower

If you wear daily disposable contact lenses like 1 Day Acuvue Moist in the shower, is there a danger to the health of your eyes?

Well, I don't wear my lenses in the shower, I don't think it would be pleasant, they aren't designed to be met with massive amounts of water, you might need to take them out.

I was also told to take out the contacts and not wear them in the shower or in the swimming pool without wearing goggles if you are going to leave them in. That said I have showered with them in before and nothing happened to me or to the health of my eyes. Don't make it a practice the potential for infection is always there but I wouldnt and don't worry about an occasional "oops I forgot!" If I were to develope an eye infection I would undoubtedly change my views quickly.
