Default 1 Day Acuvue Moist Contacts Make Your Eyes Sore

You'd think that a contact lens that has the word "moist" right in the name would be very comfortable. I'm sure lots and lots of people think so, but some folks are finding that they get very sore eyes--or should I say "eye"? It seems to be happening in one eye only. One eye gets sore, red and watery. Has anyone here found out how to wear 1 Day Acuvue Moist contact lenses all day without pain?

hi bensica..Ive been wearing it for a year now and no side effects or any sore eyes and the likes..my best advice for is to consult an optometrist who had prescribe your lens and click this site to read further on how to wear this lens..http://moist.acuvue.com.au/index.asp

Hi there. There shouldn't be any problem wearing them. If those people had sore eyes after wearing them, then their lenses must have been dirty when they wore it and have not noticed.

Default Contaminated Contacts

Well, so far it seems like the reason a person might be uncomfortable in 1-Day Acuvue Moist contacts lenses is if they got contaminated.

However, if you use these contacts properly you take them out of the sterile packaging, wear them once, and then throw them away before you go to bed. How can they get contaminated? I wonder if any of these people who are having problems were trying to wear them for a second day?
