Default Bloodshot eyes after working out

Anyone know what causes this? My eyes are fine after working out when I'm wearing glasses but anytime I engage in any sort of sports activity, my eyes are really bloodshot afterwards.

Maybe there's some kind of unknown pressure exerted on the eyes that you're not consciously aware of. You're not on any kind of medication, are you?

I noticed that it has happened to me also. But the difference between you and me is that it only happens few of the times. Not all the time. Hmmm, did you ask your eye doctor? I haven't asked my doctor because it has only happened a few times. Please let me know if you find what is causing it. I'm very curious.

Well, go to a doctor then. Just because you had bloodshots while wearing glasses does not necessarily mean its because of those glasses. Good luck.

Okay, so what happens when you engage into any sports while wearing them?

Mitsuba has a point! The capillaries! I've heard they're the most cause of blood shots from the eyes.

It happened to you also? hmm... I still don't think this is caused by the glasses.

Red eyes can be caused by:

* Too much alcohol.
* Too much time spent in front of the computer screen.
* Spending time in a smoky environment

Most Common Cause of Red Eyes is:

Not Enough Sleep

Dark circles under eyes on the other hand. Are often caused by allergies.

If you are suffering from bloodshot eyes make sure you go to bed on time. If you have trouble sleeping you might what to check on you evening routine.

What I usually do is in the evening before bed, like a hour or more before I actually go to sleep, I take out my contacts and put glasses on. This gives my eyes a break. It does seem to help.

You've got to be very careful when typing the word "bloodshot." The "i" is right next to the "o".

Okay, let me see if I've got this straight. When you work out while wearing your glasses, your eyes get bloodshot, but wearing contact lenses does not bother your eyes, except when you participate in sports. Glasses+working out=red eyes. Contact lenses+sports=red eyes. Do I have that correct?
