Default 1-Day Acuvue Inside Out?

If the contact lens seems to want to wrap around your fingertip rather than go onto your eye, does that mean it's inside out?

I believe that is the case, yes. Read the use instructions.

In my experience if they are inside out they do not seem to sit correctly in the eye, so you can tell if they are the wrong way around.

Sounds like they are inside out, that's always uncomfortable. I would take them out and put them in the other way, see how that is.

I just look for the '123' on the lens to see if its inside out.

Don't all Accuvue lenses have that feature?

Cheers

Asfalloth.

Default 1-Day Acuvue inside out

If you hold the contact at eye level and it looks like a bowl on your finger tip - it;s OK. If the contact looks like the edges of the bowl edge out more like a plate, the contact is upside down. Hope this helps, I check this way every morning.

Yeah, it kinda curves a bit, it isn't hard to see which side goes in.

Thanks for your input everybody. Your answers are going to help a lot of people. In fact, if you're reading this thread and you have been helped by it, let us know, okay?

As for Asfalloth's question about the number "123" on all Acuvue contact lenses, some have "123" and others have "AV." The color contacts don't seem to have any kind of indicator.
