I just got my 1 day acuvue contacts and I was wondering if I can wear them longer than a day. I was reading an article that said I could but I'm not so sure. My optometrist said that it would be a bad idea, but I'm sure he isn't going to take any chances.

I certainly would not recommend it. They are not meant to be worn more than one day. You can get alsorts of dirt and bacteria on them when you are handling them, so it is better to throw tham away rather than re-use.
