It always amazes me when
contact lens companies call the doctor's office and if they hear nothing from the doctor for x amount of time (Usually less than 24 hours.) they go ahead and ship these medical devices anyway.
Isn't that a little like knocking on someone's door, waiting a few minutes and after you get no answer, you climb in the window?
