While this did really happen to me when the optician put the very first lenses in for me I should say it was an acuvue oasis lens designed for disposal after two weeks daily wear or 6 days continuous wear. However I have since been changed to other brand lenses, after the acuvue oasis a daily disposable was tried the 1-day acuvue moist, and after that I was given a trial for ciba daily disposable with aqua comfort which were the most comfortable for me so I wear them to this day but do toss them every single night! Thanks for the warning though it really is true for the amount one would save is it worth possibly ruining ones eyes to save a couple dollars? Not to me!
