I've been lurking around this site for quite a while now, and I can tell you that there are very few posts that talk about contact lens dependence. I'm not 100% sure, but I am fairly certain that your eyes do not weaken and become "dependent" because you wear glasses or contact lenses. When I was in that age range not long ago, my prescription changed each year until it finally stabilized.
