I have blue eyes and desperately want a deep brown shade but they always make that pupil hole too large so you see the brown and then a ring of blue iris and then the pupil. Its kind of pretty but people can tell they are obviously contact lenses.
The only draw back I see to that custom contact design website is you have to actually go to their office to have them made and they only have two locations. New York City and Beverly Hills. It says on their site that they wont allow your own eye doctor to transfer records. It has to entirely be done through them because of the intricate nature of the design. I think I will look into a consultation at their NYC office however.
Also these custom contacts are expensive but it says they will last up to 2 years with proper care and handling. |
Those are beautiful contacts and all, but they're still not worth a trip to New York or Beverly Hills. They may just want to take another look at their marketing strategy. It's tempting to brush them off simply because they expect me to
book a flight to their office. I'd much rather park my fanny in front of my computer and order on line from lens.com and let the contacts come to me.
