That's quite a legacy.
Thanks for the search, thecure. It's nice to know that this song was covered by so many talented artists . . .

and Rick Astley.

Only kidding! Calm down. Here's what I found out about Mr. Astley on Wikipedia.

"Astley holds the record for being the only male solo artist to have his first 8 singles reach the Top 10 in the UK and has sold approximately 40 million records worldwide.
After fading into obscurity in the 1990s, Astley made a comeback in 2007 when he became an Internet phenomenon, as his video for 'Never Gonna Give You Up' became part of a popular Internet meme known as 'Rickrolling.' Astley was voted by Internet users 'Best Act Ever' at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2008."

"Best Act Ever?" I'll bet fans of Elvis and Bruce Springsteen will have something to say about that.

And fans of the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, The Who (When did Rick Astley ever perform at the Superbowl?), Frank Sinatra, Paul McCartney, The Bee Gees, Prince, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, U2, Whitney Houston, Paul Simon, Van Halen, The Police, Yes, David Bowie, Dire Straits, Madonna, Aretha Franlin, should I go on?
