Making stuff up. I have had the opportunity to tour the plant that makes Focus DAILIES. For all of you Made in USA folks, this lens is made and packaged entirely in the USA. DAILIES is made with a glass and quartz mold and the polymer is cured with UV light. I think CIBA calls it Lightstream technology. It gives the lens the most accurate powers and thinnest edge of any lens on the market. It is apparently more accurate and reliable than the process of cast molding, which we don't need to go into.
