It's rare, but I've had them break in my eye when rubbing them. Maybe 3 times or so in 2 years, but it' a PITA...!

Most of the time they are just fine, and very thin and very comfortable. I only have to use rewetting drops a couple of days a week, and most days don't even need them. And I often wear my contacts 16-18 hours per day...
