Yeah, you're right! I was kinda joking with my remarks, as I have worn contacts before, both the daily and extended wear, and to be honest, it makes me a bit nervous to wear them too long. I mean, what makes the difference between daily disposables vs. extended wear? I mean, you have the same gunk in your eyes, aren't both types of contacts likely to get dirty? Or are the extended wear somehow "tougher" in some way, or more impervious to the crap thats in your eyes?

I don't know, I just know that I could never decide whether it was better to sleep with the extended wear in my eyes, which I've done, or put them back in those little cases, either way, it's like, I worry about what might be growing on them, or in my eyes ... call me paranoid. LOL

But yah, the paper plate analogy is funny. I was trying to be humorous with my response as well. Still ... LOL yuck!
