I don't think that the handling tint would have any impact on the comfort of the lenses. Lots of lenses have a blue handling tint and we don't hear of problems. Safer bet is the wetting agent coating, as suggested by germanium in a previous post on this thread.

I agree with Knotlob. The handling tint is very subtle and shouldn't cause any problems--unless you're super-sensitive somehow.
