We've had several posts in this thread that said "Yeah, I know someone who woke up with sticky eyes." but we never heard The Rest of the Story. Was the stickiness because of an eye infection?

I had conjunctivitis once, but my eye didn't actually get stuck shut. It was pretty gooey for a while, though.
