Always contacts first. Sometimes I pop my lenses out midday and give them a soak if I know it's going to be a very long day/evening. Then, since I'm not redoing my makeup, I will have to reinsert them with makeup on and I've often had bits of mascara or lashes drug into my eyes, no matter how careful I am. It's a pain.
