I've had similar experience to a previous poster above:
Proclear Toric in my left eye,
Proclear Toric XR in my right.
Out of a new box of 6 I have worn 4 of them. All 4 of the XR's have ripped!!!
I'm using SoloCare lens solution, I am not rubbing the lenses, I am using plenty of re-wetting drops while wearing them, and yet the XR's are still tearing.
All 4 of the XR lenses that have torn have been worn less than 10 time (2 of them have actually only been worn once, and 1 was worn 3 times!).
The retailer I bought them from is sending me a replacement box, and requesting a retuen of any lenses I have left when I get the replacement so it can be determined if it is a "bad lot".
From what I have found on a number of forums, this is not a "bad lot", just a fact that these rip easily.
Oh well, now I know. When I make it through these, I suppose I will try another brand. Unfortunately, these are very comfortable and the vision correction is great. Any suggestions on a comparable replace would be appreciated.
