I have called proclear and spoke to a rep. who was both really nice and informative. She said these lenses are designed specifically for those with dry eyes. When the contacts are in your eyes, the contacts dehydrate as your eyes get dry which will help keep your eyes wet. The problem is, when you go to take them out at night, they are really dry and more susceptible to tearing. She suggested putting re-wetting drops in your eyes about 5 min before removing them.
This seems pretty redundant, but if that's the only solution at this point that's the only solution.

I've heard that too. For dry eyes you want
contact lenses with
less water content, otherwise the wet contacts will take moisture from your eyes to stay wet. I think the re-wetting drops are a good idea. It's easy to do and will keep you comfortable.
