The question you quoted was "How well would they correct your vision while they were in the process of dissolving?" I think Wookiee74 wanted to know how things looked when these theoretical contacts were in your eyes and half-dissolved. I would hope that if something like this was invented, they would probably dissolve pretty quickly for that reason. I would hate to walk around for two weeks waiting for my contacts to dissolve completely.
