Easy does it. Don't rush and pay attention.

What I do is put the lens directly centered on the eye; then look slightly down while I tilt my head up until all the air bubbles are gone (do not blink during this process or you might dislodge the contact); then center my head and blink.

That has been an effective way to apply all contact lenses.
