I get no distortion at all, they're amazing -- it feels like I'm putting my eyes in each morning as I'm spoiled now, doesn't feel right when they're out.

Everyone's different though, hopefully you'll have similar results -- my optometrist started me out with a trial pair though; have you tried them?
