I have never had any vision problems, until 48+, then I could no longer read without help. I am currently trying to find a multi-focal that I can wear. So far, my quest has led me to believe that if I want to be able to drive in the
contacts, my office vision is not going to be all that great.
I am currently trying and add low in the left and an add high +.25 in the right. I can pick most things up and read them, but I can't do bookkeeping with confident accuracy. So I keep a pair of lower powered readers close by to assist. My doctor is still working with me trying to find the best of both worlds, giving me samples of different ones to try.
Can anyone help me understand what the add low or add high mean?
