I've heard that contacts that say "one day" or "daily" are good for one wear. You put them in, you take them out, you throw them away.

What if you get something in your eye in the middle of the day and you take your contact lens out just to get the offending debris out? Do you have to have to throw the contact lens away because you took it out, even though you've only worn it a few hours?
