There's no reason why you can't wear contacts while using the computer. There's probably at least three or four people--possibly many more--who are reading this post right now with the aid of contact lenses. Jump in and tell us if this means you.

The only caution is to remember to blink. When people are reading a computer screen they have a tendency to stare for long periods without blinking. If they're wearing contact lenses, this can make them dry and uncomfortable. As long as you remember to blink you should be okay.
