I should have been more clear in my above reply, it was the progressive glasses that I can not get used to and still do not see well with them, but I was able to read OK with the multi focal contact lenses, I did get some blurring of vision and head aches after prolonged wear but maybe that could be remedied by starting slow and building up to my usual 14 or 15 hour day. I just had one pair (trial pair) of the multifocal contact lenses and have now lost one anyway.The price of my useless progressive lens glasses however would have purchased many, many multifocal contact lenses!
