I recieved a different pair of lenses yesterday and to keep this thread on topic I just want to say that
Acuvue 2 Colors OPAQUE have a "hard" iris and pupil opening, meaning that if your pupil is larger (due to available light) than the pupil hole of the lens then you will see blurry. Also if the
contacts float a bit, and they all do, you will also see blurry even if your pupil are small. I used to see blurry with these even in bright sunligt when my pupils were tiny. Basically these were always blurry for me.
The new pair I rec'd are not opaques and the eye hole is graduated or staggered and my natural color bleeds through this center part. Again please note that the pupil hole on the lens is not a round hard edge butted up against the lens's hard colored, opaque colored iris, but rather a graduated star like fade with the color darker and more opaque at the outter iris rim.
Bottom line is this way of designing lenses allows for maximum visibility. Also the look is natural as well for darker eyes.
