Hmmm . . . I started to do a bit of research here and realized there are two words that are very similar. You have "chromacity" which is defined as "a specification of the quality of a color as determined by its saturation, chroma, intensity, or purity and hue."
Then you have "chromaticity." Look again, there's an extra syllable there. "Chromaticity is defined as "an objective specification of the quality of a color regardless of its luminance, that is, as determined by its hue and colorfulness (or saturation, chroma, intensity, or excitation purity)."
If I didn't know better, I'd think Wikipedia is trying to blind me with science.
