Default Best enhancers for bluish gray eyes?

They're not dark eyes, but not especially light, which would have the best effect? I have only tried the ocean blue ones and they were hardly noticeable. So, would aquamarine or emerald green be more noticeable?

I think something green would be a good idea. To go from bluish gray to green would be something that might make your friends do a double take. Wouldn't that be fun?

Here we have Emerald Green on the left and Green Aqua on the right. Try the green.

So, MtotheP, are you going to give us more than one post?

How Do You Choose the Right Color?

This is usually the most difficult question for a first-time wearer. And it all boils down to this: What kind of person are you as described below: 1 or 2?

1. I want people to notice my new eye color and ask me about it.

If you are bold, dramatic and comfortable being the center of attention, then you want an eye color that everyone notices immediately.

So, for instance:

If your skin, hair and natural eye colors have cool, blue-red undertones, you might choose a warm-toned contact lens such as light brown.
If your skin is dark, you might choose bright-colored lenses.
Do you wear eye makeup? Choose a contact lens color that will stand out from the shadow and mascara colors you like to wear.
If your natural eye color is brown, you might choose contact lenses in violet, green or blue.

2. I want people to notice that I look different but not know exactly why.

If you want to change your appearance, but in a more subtle way:
Do Brown Eyes = Intelligence?

The personality trait most associated with brown eyes is intelligence, according to a survey of U.S. women ages 16 to 35. Besides intelligence (34 percent), brown eyes also convey trustworthiness (16 percent) and kindness (13 percent), said respondents.

Blue-eyed people are seen to exude sweetness (42 percent), sexiness (21 percent), and kindness (10 percent). And green eyes are associated with sexiness (29 percent), creativity (25 percent) and deviousness (20 percent).

Sixty percent of the respondents said they'd like to change their eye color, with 27 percent choosing green. Then came amethyst (26 percent) and blue (18 percent). Turquoise, gray, honey and brown were the next choices, in that order.

The 2002 survey was conducted by CyberPulse and commissioned by FreshLook. — L.S.

One option is an enhancer lens that is the same basic color as your eyes, which would define the edges of your iris and deepen your natural color, but not change it dramatically.
If your natural eye color is blue, you might choose contact lenses in gray or green.
If your skin, hair, makeup and natural eye colors are warm-toned, you might choose a warm color contact lens such as hazel to match and blend in.

Also, will you be wearing your color contact lenses every day? Or just for special occasions? If it's the latter, then you might want a color that's very different from your normal color.

Special-occasion wearers will also like daily disposable color contacts. They're designed — and priced — to be worn once, and then discarded.

Wow, you're really smart, Anetra. How about you? Do you want people to notice your eye color or just think that you look different somehow?

That's an interesting observation. So a brown-eyed guy like myself is perceived as intelligent, trustworthy and kind.

That sounds like you're describing a beagle.

Now if only I were this cute.

Where are these women, and can someone introduce them to my brown eyed-self?

Hey eyecaramba,
FYI: Beagles are actually kinda nasty, as I was told by "Beagleman", some guy that used to live down the street. He only owned beagles -- not sure why as they always bit him, at least a few times -- Still he just loved the breed. Stranger than strange. No, wait. . . this is stranger than that:

I had a huge black bodyguard (a Chow) who was actually very friendly with every frigging breed of dog -- Except, yeah, -- beagles. Just hated them for whatever reason. He (my Chow) went so far as to actually pee in "Beaglegirls" tennis shoes whenever she took them off.

Yeah, I guess The Cattt has really come back. Sometimes she has senior moments and gets a wee bit off of the topic. So Sorry!

Back to the topic: Do you like guys with brown beagle eyes, Cattt? Do you think that they're "intelligent, trustworthy and kind"?

Well, since I am far from the age range quoted in the survey of U.S. women, gotta count me out. Truth is -- I rarely trust a man period, regardless of his eye color. Unless you can see a flicker of sincerity deep into the soul of those baby beagle brown/green/blue/hazel eyes, I normally don't believe a word their saying. Ohhhh, perhaps I am just a tad bit jaded and/or "burned"!. OUCH!

I can't speak for cattt, but I don't see people who have brown eyes as being especially intelligent and/or kind.

No, I don't either. Personality is in the brain, not the irises. Next we'll be examining the bumps on people's heads and judging them by that.

i think brown eyes are SO sexy... a lot more than blue and green. because theyre so dark and mysterious.. blue eyes are CUTE..but not sexy to me... with blue eyes...for THEM to be sexy..they have to have the eye SHAPE (which most brown eyed people already have)

i think light eyed people are too cocky hahaha

Thanks for sharing your ideas about brown eyes. May I ask if you're a man or a woman?

So you find brown eyed women sexy then.

Me, I'm a guy who prefers to look at Megan Fox.

Oh, Megan . . .

There you are. Smile for the nice people.

Solotica natural colors are great because they are a cross between a opaque and trancluscent lens with a "feathered" pupil hole so it blends amazing on someone with non brown eyes.

Ha, for what it's worth, I've heard actors who've worked with her say she's dumb as a box of rocks. Probably means she didn't give 'em the time of day.

So uh....do I get smarter or dumber when I wear my green contacts?
