How do the blue Acuvue 2 Colours - Enhancers contacts look in dark brown eyes? Will they still look blue or will they turn gray?

I've got brown eyes as well, not very dark, but I wondered how blue lenses would look on my eyes. Or perhaps I should rephrase my question - what lenses would work the best to make my eyes blue?

Enhancers only work for light eyes and light brown eyes. Light brown can only really wear a green enhancer (a blue enhancer will only make them look darker). You need an opaque coloured contact if you have dark brown eyes.

Thank you Doc, that answers my question nicely.

So when you say "a blue enhancer will only make them look darker" when worn on brown eyes, you mean they look darker brown or darker blue?

Glad this helps. The blue enhancer cannot really be detected and so turns the dark brown eye a darker brown. If you are after a subtle change for dark brown eyes, solotica and illusions by ciba vision do really nice lenses. They are both annual replacement and I would call them "semi-opaque" as they still allow some of your natural color to show through. I've found them to be the most natural on the market for dark eyes. Hope this helps.
