Enhancing Your Natural Color

Do you use colored contact lenses just to enhance your natural eye color? Do you put brown contacts in brown eyes? I'd just like to hear from some people who do this and find out how common it is.

I have not done it yet for enhancement. I have made complete color changes and am considering going with a deeper blue to enhance the natural blue that I have. I have just been afraid that it would be a waste to get the same color.

I'll let you know if I go through with it.

I knew a girl who was rumored to have worn blue contact lenses in her blue eyes. All I knew is that her eyes were an incredibly intense color blue. You almost couldn't look directly at her eyes.

I was wondering if color contacts can change your eye color that much I guess it can. Are color contacts more expensive than regulr ones?

I would think with blue or green eyes it would be stunning. I would think it a waste on plain old brown eyes like my own though.

Now why would you say that? Why would it be a waste to go from "plain" to "stunning"?

Below is a picture of a young lady named Akureyri, presumably from Iceland because this picture comes from a gallery of pictures about that place. I Googled "stunning eyes" and there she was. No color contacts, there. At least . . . none that I can see.

has anyone tried yellow tinted see-through contact lenses on brown eyes?...

im pretty sure since you use the tinted blue or green contact lenses on brown eyes they make it way darker, which makes sense on real life. But what about trying just yellow? (not the halloween ones). Im pretty positive that the result will be an amber or something def lighter, specially on medium or light brown eyes... Do you guys think it can work?, has anyone tried it?...

That sounds interesting, applejuice. Thanks for the suggestion.

Just make sure that you're very careful with those yellow lenses--unless you want to look like you've gone to the Dark Side.

BTW--Is this the only pose available with Anakin's yellow eye(s) clearly visible?

After consulting with many makeup mavens and experts, I've discovered that it takes more than just one color to make your brown eyes beautiful and brilliant. The perfect palette is hard to come by, but I've found a few that get the job done well. Each of these include three to four shades of just the right browns and bronzes to perfectly enhance your eyes.

The lightest neutral shade is the accent color that should go just beneath your brow-bone, the medium color should be swept all over your lid and the darkest gets applied to the crease. Stay tuned for more palettes later this week to suit your eye color!

I don't know which is a scarier transformation. Anakin's yellow eyes, or David Banner's grey-green eyes:
