Default Enhancers in Brown Eyes

Why is it so hard to make a contact lens that changes brown eyes?

Have you ever tried Acuvue 2 Colours - Enhancers and the resulting eye color was not just a slightly altered brown, but an entirely new muddy color you've never seen before?

Send pictures of you have them.

Enhancers are meant for light eyes. On brown eye, enhancers generally do not show up at all. A blue enhancer on a brown eye may make the eye darker. As green enhancer, if the eye is hazel or light brown may cause the eye to appear hazel green, but will likely not be visible on a medium or dark brown coloured eye.

To dramatically change the colour of brown eyes, you need an opaque lens, like Freshlook Colorblends (Toric and Dailies available), Freshlook Opaques, Acuvue Opaques, Bausch and Lomb Soflens Natural Colours, Expressions, Lunelle Couleur (toric available), CL-Tinters Images, Waicon TriKolor (toric available), Waicon Opaques, Magic Top (Toric available, called Optogel Colour), Solotica... etc

Your optometrist should be able to get you started with some opaque lenses that do offer a dramatic change.

Thanks for those good suggestions.

actually I've heard of brown eyed people using green enhancers and getting a nice hazel---not sure if it was Focus or Freshlook enhancers
