Exclamation Pearl Gray vs. Hazel for dark brown eyes

Hey!

I just bought Pearl Gray contacts (Acuvue opaque) - and I just love them! I have very dark brown eyes, and the gray covers them completely! Prior to that I ordered Hazel acuvues and the color looked terrible on my dark eyes (dirty brownish with no noticable green)

Pros: Pearl Gray acuvues look very natural and is so soft that I can barely feel them!

Cons: When you rapidly move your eyes lens get sklightly off the center. When I was wearing FreshLook Colorblends - it never happened.

Note: If you want to try out hazel eyes, it is better to go with FreshLook ColorBlends Pure Hazel - it is the most natural and beautiful hazel color that has ever been created. If you'd like to "lighten" your dark eyes instead, go with Pearl Gray Acuvue 2 Colors Opaque - this color will give you a natural look and spark up your face!

Thank you for your review, nigilina. This is just the sort of thing I like to read on Lens 101. Someone telling me about lenses that they've actually tried for themselves. Nice work.

Since I've posted a lot on this forum by now, I'll post a couple of pictures for you. Sorry I couldn't find anything bigger, though. Is everyone else having as much trouble as I am trying to find a picture of these contacts where you an actually see the color?

Yes, Unclelar. I tried a search for those lenses, but like you said, I can only find the little thumbnails. I can't believe that there are no good close pictures of Acuvue2 Colours - Opaque in Pearl Grey that are bigger than a thumbnail.

Finally, I decided to do a new search, except I'd spell it "gray," and I found this:

Way to think outside the box, Zoey. Thank you.
