Default Pearl Gray contacts on Asian eyes!

Hey everyone!

I have recently received a pair of trial contact lenses from my optometrist. I'm liking the color VERY much. These are the most comfortable lenses I've ever owned and plus they do change my eye color nicely, considering that I have the darkest of brown eyes! Below are some of the pros/cons I found with these lens:

Pros:

- Color is very subtle and not in your face (if you know what I mean) if you are looking for a bold, harsh change of eye color, these lenses are not for you.
- These set of contact lens are the most comfortable out of my other color contact lenses. It could be that the Base Curve is 8.2 which fortunately fits my eyes perfectly.
- Has a diameter of 14.0 mm which does not enlarge your iris. I'm not a big fan of that dolly eye look.
- Has a water content of 58% which doesn't dry out my eyes as bad.

Cons:

- Although the pupil hole is just right, it's a wee bit too small to look through. My peripheral vision gets quite blurry especially when it's not too bright out.
- I'm not sure if these were a defect set of lenses but sometimes they slide out of my iris making my eyes look wonky.

Overall I am loving these lenses. I just hope the ones I got were perhaps a defect for the fact that they slide out easily.

The first picture is my natural eye color.
The second is the pearl gray contacts with flash on.
The third is the pearl gray contacts again with indoor lighting.
The fourth picture is a complete headshot with pearl gray lenses on.

P.S. These are trial lenses therefore the word TEST is on both lenses. I tried my best to hide it though!

Enjoy

Thank you I tried my best to be as descriptive as I could. It took me about a month overall to research as best as I could about the lenses and how they would look. Sad to say that there aren't many reviews out there that covers Acuvue's opaque lenses neatly. Mind you I did find a couple but they either had horrible picture quality or just horrible review LOL.

Okay maybe I was exaggerating, but it was honestly hard to find the review that I found REALLY helpful. I'm glad you were satisfied with my review ^^

Wow. Such beautiful Asian eyes. Thank you for putting those pictures up here.

I have to say that I can't see the word "TEST" anywhere in those pictures.

Thank you, Nursenancy. I had to make sure the "TEST" was hidden underneath my upper eyelid. Hooray for small eyes! LOL

Yeah, some people wear contacts to make their eyes bigger, but small eyes can be pretty, too.

You can get those lenses from the sponsor, Lens.com: http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/lens134.asp

Oh, and for the record, I don't think SoniaF looks fierce. I think she looks very friendly. I like the picture where I can see her smile.
