Default Beautiful, blurry, flimsy, watery contacts

I'm somewhat new to contact lenses and have recently decided to experiment with colors. I got the Acuvue 2 lenses in jade green and absolutely love the color and I have found them to be very comfortable, although they often make my eyes feel watery. I've heard that that's a sign that they're actually dry & my eyes are trying to compensate. Is that right?

Also, MAIN PROBLEM - I've been wearing these contacts for about 2 days and have found them to be very blurry - not helping my eyesight at all. I read another post about lights being fuzzy & overbright, which I've also experienced. I've read that my eyes need to adjust to them, so I'm trying that for now. Does anyone have any advice for me. I guess I just need to hear that this is a somewhat common problem & I'll get past it. Oh yeah, My left contact is for nearsightedness and the right is for farsightedness. Would that make a difference?

Also, are all color lenses flimsy? My clear lenses seemed much stiffer, which made them easier to insert. I have a hard time getting these to keep their shape long enough to get in, and once they're in, they'll often have an air bubble that I have to get out, often dislodging the lens in the process. I sure appreciate any advice I could get. Thanks!

Hi tamiw5. I believe I just responded to your other question on this site. For this question, I haven't had any personal experience with Acuvue 2 Colours, but I've read here in Lens 101 that the pupil holes in the lenses are too small, so that when your pupils expand, your vision blurs. Do you find that things are fuzzier in dim light? That might just explain your complaint. Have it checked out and let us know, okay?
