I'm somewhat new to contact lenses and have recently decided to experiment with colors. I got the Acuvue 2 lenses in jade green and absolutely love the color and I have found them to be very comfortable, although they often make my eyes feel watery. I've heard that that's a sign that they're actually dry & my eyes are trying to compensate. Is that right?
Also, MAIN PROBLEM - I've been wearing these contacts for about 2 days and have found them to be very blurry - not helping my eyesight at all. I read another post about lights being fuzzy & overbright, which I've also experienced. I've read that my eyes need to adjust to them, so I'm trying that for now. Does anyone have any advice for me. I guess I just need to hear that this is a somewhat common problem & I'll get past it. Oh yeah, My left contact is for nearsightedness and the right is for farsightedness. Would that make a difference? Also, are all color lenses flimsy? My clear lenses seemed much stiffer, which made them easier to insert. I have a hard time getting these to keep their shape long enough to get in, and once they're in, they'll often have an air bubble that I have to get out, often dislodging the lens in the process. I sure appreciate any advice I could get. Thanks! |
