Default Question about Astigmatism

I have astigmatism.

Power axis cylinder
Right 0.50 80 -1.25
Left 0.00 120 -0.75

I have no idea what these numbers mean.
Which eye is worse than the other?
Is this a severe astigmatism?

I was prescribed Acuvue Oasys and when I put the contacts on, I can see far very well, but my near sight is much worse (presbyopia) than when I have no contacts on.

Since I cannot be fitted for Gas Permeable (not much tear in my eyes, plus Proclear multi was not a good fit - the lense moved around too much when I blinked), how about Acuvue for Presbyopia? (that would mean I won't have astigmatism correction)

Welcoming any input!

Did I see this question earlier today? It sounds familiar. I tried to do a little research and explain those numbers, but it seems a bit complicated. Was this question answered somewhere else?

Here's a quote from that website: "A year later, or maybe half a year after laser correction in nearsighted patients the muscles will be stronger and stronger pressure on the eyes, while dolnozorkiz increasingly pulling back his eyes, while destroying tailored optical system of the lens. This will not predictable consequences. Что нам и показывает наш Американский друг в своих же новостях. With us and shows our American friend in their own news."

Thanks Spicegul--and kuziakin--that was . . . interesting. Not very helpful, but interesting, I like the random use of the Cyrillic alphabet. Nice touch.

That's supposed to say "best wishes" according to howtosayin.com. If it's some kind of dreadful insult, blame them.

I'm not insulted Tony. I think it's neat. I can't read a lick of Cyrillic though, thanks for translating.

Wow. The Great Question In All This is . . . why would someone put that on the Internet? What's the point? Is it just to irritate people?

So the moral of the story is this: Don't go to eyesvisions.com. Stay here on Lens 101.

Right you are Uhura.

Hey, how many times have you been asked to "open a hailing frequency"?
