Has anyone heard about Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism contact lenses chipping? Could this be the result of putting them in the covers?

This is not a normal problem with them. Make sure they have settled down to the bottom of the case before putting the tops on. Also, when removing the contacts from your eye, try to grab the lens in the middle, and not by the edge.
