I've got a question for all of you who wear Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism contacts. Have you ever had the experience of putting in your contacts, and then about two hours later they feel all sticky in your eyes? Everything is okay, but then you blink, and then everything goes blurry. When you blink again, your vision clears up again. Then you blink again, and it's blurry.
If this has ever happened to you, I'd like to know if you ever found out why, and what you were able to do to make it stop. Thanks a lot. Last edited by OV-102; 12-31-2007 at 01:36 PM.. |

You're probably getting deposits on the contacts lenses. Try switching to either ClearCare by Ciba or Optifree Express. Both solutions are approved for use on silicone hydrogels contacts. The ClearCare solution is probably the better choice, but read the directions carefully and use the enclosed case eith the bottle. If that doesnt work, then changing to another brand of contact lens will be necessary. That will entail a visit to your contact lens fitter.
