Default Acuvue2 vs Acuvue Advance Contact Lenses

I was wondering if anyone out there has ever tried Acuvue 2 and Acuvue Advance contact lenses. I read that the Advance contacts lets more oxygen through and are more comfortable in general. I'd be curious to see readers' response to this inquiry.

I wear Acuvue Advance and my only complaint with them being hydrogels, is they are very thin like cellophane and I find some difficulty handling them as they want to fold over before I can get them in my eye..so the dryer they are before inserting, they hold their shape better.

Now I can say mine are EXTREMELY comfortable, it doesn't even feel like I have a contact in my eye. The visual clarity is amazing. They are comfortable, don't get dry, cloudy, foggy or anything. Other than the handling thing I love them.

But, I know everyone is different as some folks build alot of protein deposits and lipids and different lenses react differently when taking all that into account.

Hope this helps.

You're right about people reacting differently to the same contact lenses, and I'm glad yours are so comfortable. Thank you for helping me with this question.
