Default cloudy, then clear

Some days, a lens gives me trouble for several hours in the morning. Today I was about to drop everything and go get more lenses. Out of desperation, I drank a lot of water. Then suddenly, it was ok.
Is it my solution? Body hydration?
Thanks

Hi chicagoeggman. Welcome to Lens 101. Regarding your water question, I'm not a doctor, but I think it's safe to say that for cloudy Acuvue Advance contacts, drinking water couldn't hurt.

By the way, when I saw the title, I thought you were talking about the weather.

Thanks Wheatgrass,
I guess I should upgrade my solution too. Been using the Walgreens green for a few bottles. I guess it cleans ok, but it does have a 12% on the stain chart.

I've heard people talking about the importance of proper hydration. I suspect that it helps avoid headaches and in some cases sore back and feet when you're standing a long time.

I haven't heard specifically about how hydration affects eyesight, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did affect it in some cases.

Have you noticed this on more than one occasion?
