Not really. They are pretty deceptive with that calculation. It's only measured at the center of the lens, where its the thinnest. That said, the industry has a standard of measurement called Dk/T and its calculated at the center of a -3.00 lens. Where your vision correction occurs, the mid-periphery, its probably equivalent to marginally better than an Acuvue2 or Focus Weekly. If you want higher breathability, look for the highest DK value, NOT Dk/T. That way the lens delivers higher levels of oxygen, even at its thickest points.

I recently found a website that explained common medical abbreviations such as b.i.d., which means "twice a day." Those particular letters are used (b.i.d.) because it comes from the Latin "bis in die." Would you happen to know why the letters d, k, and t, were chosen and why only the letter D is capitalized?
