Default Can an Acuvue Advance Get Stuck In Your Eye By Suction?

It's been said over and over again, and I'm going to say it myself . . . you CANNOT get a contact lens stuck behind your eye.

There. I said it.

Now for my question. Can a contact lens like Acuvue Advance get stuck to the side of your eye by suction? What do you do if it does?

I believe it can because I've had that happen to me with my Acuvue Advance lenses. Not sure if it's on the side of my eye or under my eyelid but it has defiantly completely disappeared from the front of my eye. It usually comes back by blinking or using eye drops to loosen the suction. I know you're not supposed to rub your eye, but I have gotten mine back in place by closing my eye and gently rubbing. The best thing to do is not to panic - it will find its place again.
