Talking Does acuvue oasys provide clear vision all the time?

My eye doctor told me that it was normal to experience blurry vision after wearing Acuvue Oasys for astig aft a few days... And..what does it mean by poor fitting of contact lenses(Lenses inserting in wrong position?)

Hi engchai1993. We welcome you to Lens 101.

Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism are designed to be worn for a week if you wear them day and night, and two weeks if you don't sleep with them in. So they shouldn't start going blurry after only a few days. Since they are "for astigmatism" they are called "toric" lenses which have weights built in so that they're not in your eyes crooked. I know it sounds weird for something circular to be crooked, but with toric lenses it's really true. If your vision does blur, you should be able to just blink and correct it.
Contact lenses of all types have two main measurements. Base curve and diameter. The diameter is the distance from one edge to the opposite edge, and it's usually measured in millimeters.
Base curve measures the sharpness of the curve at the back of your contact lenses. A typical base curve is about 8.0. If the base curve and diameter aren't right, you won't be able to see clearly or wear the lenses comfortably.

If you need anything to be explained in more detail, just say so and either someone else or I will come and tell you a little bit more.

According to Lens.com, "By harnessing the natural pressure of your eyelids, [Accelerated Stabilization Design] ASD helps minimize shifting and lens rotation to help keep your lenses right where they need to be. ASD lenses feature four stability zones, instead of the single ballast zone in the next leading astigmatism lens, and are extremely thin on the edge and thicker in the middle. The result is exceptional stability and crisp vision, even for active people."

So maybe you've got something else going on besides putting the contacts in wrong. With those four stability zones, they probably go in right pretty easily.

Thanks for that quotation, Frodo. That's good to know.
