I need oasys astigmatism with the specs -8,50 , cyl 1,25 and axis 40.
but i'm told that it only exists with axis 20 and 70 etc. so now i'm using them with axis 20. does anybody know if they will produce them with axis 40? i don't understand why they can't make them in all axis ranges. incredible lense by the way! Best regards from Norway |

I just started wearing the oasys. Are they an incredible lense? I'm brand new at contacts. I feel I should try other lenses. How many toric lenses have you worn and how do they compare to the oasys? Thank you for any help you could give me.

I think it was air optix toric that my doctor said I couldnt wear beacause of my badse curve being to flat. I know this isnt correct because she first ordered me Biomedics Toric which were an 8.7 base curve. Do O.D's work with or get a bigger commision from certain companies. She told me that because of the Base curve that the biomedic toric and the oasys were my only choices. I just printed the air optics stats and am going to show this to her. I think I'm being jercked around but I wonder why!

I looked these up on Lens.com and found them here: http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/lens551.asp They are available in -8.50 power, cylinder of -1.25 and an axis of 40. |

I found that the trial pair of the oasys were not as comfortable as the boxes that i've purchased. I am a lot happier with the oasys toric that i've purchased, plus I think I just needed time to adjust. I think that there might be a lot of defective trials out there. I am a newbee though so I can't really say with any real credability. I am happy with them though and my doctor is going to order me a pair of the air optix toric just to cure my curiosity , she says that she is supossed to get them any day and will use me as her ginnipig
She is very good!!! |

I look forward to reading your Air Optix review, Smanzi333. Give us as much detail as you can about your first impressions and how things change as you get used to the new lenses. Let us know how comfortable the lenses are and how well you are able to see with them. Thanks.
