these leneses have been great as far as stable vision goes. all day long and they never really go out of focus......but i notice that my extreme peripheral vision seems slightly blurred. it's slightly annoying.....is this something that goes away or that you just have to get used to if you decide to wear these contacts?

no this is my first time dealing with contacts or glasses or any of this vision correction. at first i tried the Frequency 55 torics...but they were horrible as far as stability goes....constantly going out of focus. the oasys have been great as far as stability goes....clear vision all day, never out of focus...but the peripheral vision thing is annoying. the doc said that sometimes people have the problem, and it goes away and sometimes it might not. it's too bad that it seems like it's nto going away because if not for that these lenses are great. the frequency 55's are 14.4 and the oasys is 14.5. |

If this is your first time wearing contact lenses, it may take some time to adjust to them. Hang in there and keep in touch with your eye doctor. Keep in touch with us at Lens 101, too, so we can see how you're doing. Chances are you just need some time and maybe a slight adjustment, and you'll be fine. Let us know how it works out, OK? |

maybe...but i didn't have any peripheral blurring with the frequency 55's.....they just went out of focus way too often for my liking. |

i saw pretty good with the 55's when they were in focus. problem was they would go out of focus numnerous times duting the day. and i'm not taling about some split second thing where i'd just have to blink and they were better. i'm talking sometimes 10 maybe even 30 minutes one eye or the pther or both would be out of focus. c ouple of times i even just had to resort to taking them out and putting them back in to get them in the right position again. that said....my doc seems to think the oasys might not work for me for whatever reason (she said that she's had otherpatients have the peripheral bluriing problem before) and now we're gonna try the Biofinity torics. |
