Default Monthly or weekly?

I have been prescribed Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia but I was lead to believe they are monthly. I am trying to find a cheap place to order and they all appear to be 1-2 weeks.

I checked Lens.com and also a UK lens site but they appear to say these Acuvue lenses are weekly/2 weekly rather than monthly.

The lens manufacturer will of course refer you back to your Eye Care Specialist who has the final say in how you should wear the lenses. After all it is the Eye Care Specialist who has examined your eyes.

Best to call your Eye Care Professional and ask what the wear time is in your particular circumstances.

I agree. The person who has examined your eyes will be the best judge of how long you can wear Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia contact lenses.

Mystery Solved! They gave me the WRONG lenses....I was supposed to be wearing Air Optix, not Acuvue for Prysbeopia.

Cool. Thanks for wrapping this up. It seems like 99% of the people who come to Lens 101 start out with "I need help with this problem," and then several people offer suggestions, but we never get to find out if the suggestions were helpful. I'm glad you didn't leave us hanging, lisa3girls.

Yes it's great when a poster comes back to report how the problem got solved, or even if it's still in the "work in progress" stage
