I have worn many types of multifocal lenses but the Acuvue Oasys have been the worst I have tried. The script is +.75 with a high addition, both eyes very similar to all the others. Well I put them in and can't see anything mid range or far, but close is great. It's like I am wearing a strong pair of readers. like a +3.00 all the time. I could not even read the calendar on the wall four feet in front of me. Why would these be so drastically different? I have worn Gas permeable , pro clear, soflens and even tried hybrids with different levels of success but these are totally different. Could there be something wrong with them like a mismarked package?

I spoke with my Doc yesterday and she suggests that I save the lenses and the packaging. She would like to return them to the rep from Johnson & Johnson to find out if they are a mislabel. In the meantime I am trying Proclear Compatibles again with my new Rx. I had pretty good success with them. My problem is that I can't seem to wear them all day as my weekly workday can be very long and my eyes get tired. I always see better with glasses but I do like to wear my contacts on weekends and for sports activities etc. Thaks for the reply.
