Smile Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia-fortnightly

I was introduced to these lenses (Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia) around September 2009 and was over the moon with the fit and comfort. I use to wear them for 7 sevens at a time. However due to financial reason I stopped wearing them until June this year. I went through 2 sets and found them uncomfortable. I use to take them out during the night.
I ordered a 3 months' supply through CONTACT4LENSES on June 2 2011 to date I have not received them. DO NOT USE THEM AS SUPPLIERS THEY ARE SHARKS IN MY OPINION!!
I am about to order my 3 months' supply through a reliable supplier however having read all the hype I am not sure whether I am doing the right thing.
Can some one please let me know their experience with Acuvue OASYS FOR PRESBYOPIA lenses????

Hi Squinty. Welcome to Lens 101. I don't have any experience with Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia myself, but I hope someone here can help you find a "reliable supplier."

How long did you stop wearing those Acuvue Oasys for Presbyopia lenses for? That pause may be the reason that your new contacts were uncomfortable.

Default Acuvue Oasys

Spongebob Thank you for your email. Due to the gap of not wearing my lenses I went to my optometrist for a check up around April this year and discussed these lenses. He seemed satisfied. However I will make enquiries regarding this concern because you may have a valid point.
Can you also provide me with the name of a supplier you alluded in your response?
Thanks!

Hi Squinty. It's not very often I get back to someone right after they asked me a question. Usually by the time I get back to them three people have already given their answers.

Never mind that. The "reliable supplier" was your phrase and I just echoed it. If you want to know the name of a company to buy contact lenses from, why not try Lens.com? They've got logos all over the place that you can click and it will take you right to their website. You can check the prices and selection there, and then decide if you'd like to buy from them. I hope you do so you won't have to keep looking. Let me know what you think of that site, okay?
