I read a review by someone who said he used to wear Acuvue 2 contacts, but he wanted something that didn't dry his eyes so much, so he went with Oasys. The dryness was better, but he said he had more eye infections.

That helps somewhat, pheinbaugh2. Just to clarify, your husband did a lot of traveling, and his eyes would often get infected. Did he wear Acuvue Oasys or Acuvue 2? Did things get better when he switched contact lens brands?
