I wear Acuve Oasys hydroclear disposables and was wondering how everyone cleans their lenses. I use a no rub solution but they always seem to start to bother me after about a week of wearing them. I don't sleep or even take a nap with them in. Any tips would be appreciated.

This is a table called the Staining Grid. It tells you which solutions work best with each brand of contact lenses. You look for the contacts you wear--in this case it's Acuvue Oasys--on the left side of the table. Then you look all across that row. Where ever the row has a green square in it, look at the brand name of the solution at the top of the column. Here you see that Acuvue Oasys is compatible with Unisol Saline, Clear Care, Opti-free Express, Opti-free Replenish, Renu Multiplus, and Renu Multipurpose, along with some others. See for yourself. |

The only complaint I have (and it isn't really much of a complaint) is that when I first started wearing Acuvue Oasys, my eyes felt sensitive and I felt like a fan was always blowing in my eyes. My eye doctor told me that it was because most Other Contact Lenses are made of plastic and they 'deaden' your eyes, so when you switch to the Acuvue Oasys (which are made of silicone hydragel), your eyes have to get used to them. |
