tearing or ripped lens?

has anyone had a problem with oasys tearing or ripping when cleaning or handling them? how did you solve the problem of tearing your lenses?

Just out of curiosity, rfriel, how do you clean your Oasys contacts? I suspect there's a step or two in the process that can be done differently to keep your contacts from ripping. The more information we have, the better.

i take the contact out by pinching off the cornea, place in palm, add aquify, rub for 5-10 sec, and put in clearcare solution. in the morning, i take it out of the clearcare container, put in palm, run for 5 seconds, and insert. i havent had a problem with oasys but heard there is an issue with biofinity, but biofinity has a higher modulus than oasys, this doesnt seem to fit, why would a lower modulus lens NOT have a tearing problem than a higher higher modulus lens? the H2O content of biofinity is 10% higher than oasys so that could be a factor.
